How a road base is stabilized

Four steps from the published application specification, with equipment most road crews already run. Nothing to heat, and no plant to schedule.

  1. A motor grader rips the existing road to a depth of about six inches, opening the base so the product can reach through it.

  2. The product is diluted in a water truck and sprayed onto the loosened soil through a spray bar.

  3. The grader works the treated soil back to line and grade, mixing the product through it, and rollers compact it to density.

  4. A final overcoat seals the surface, which dries by evaporation, overnight in dry, warm conditions, before traffic.

We supply the products and the technical support around them: application rates for your site, spray bars, and training for your crew. We do not manufacture the products and we do not install them. The work is done by your own contractor or by one of our installation partners: contractors who have shown they can install to the written procedures.
